Whiskey, American
Whisky, Whiskey? As of now, there is no clear standard for the correct spelling. It is just a convention that whiskey produced in the United States and Ireland is represented as "whiskey", and in other regions, it is called "whiskey". Interestingly, although it is βwhiskeyβ in the United States, β the word βwhiskyβ is still used in American liquor regulations.
